Calvary Greetings,
I and my team would like to thank God who has counted us faithful and put us into ministry since 2008. We are working tirelessly for the kingdom because we know our labor is not in vain (1cor 15:58) which is a wise decision.Our theme this year is to be  wise (ephesians 5:15).
This generation is decaying so fast but we have took   a wise decision of risking our lives for them. God is counting on me and you to change our world morally,spiritually,... Together, we can save what we are losing so fast and retrieve what is already in the recycle bin.
In this article, I will share part of my testimony on my Youthful vision that initiated in 2008. The ministry is known as YOFOCHM (Youth For Charity Mission - Uganda) a dynamic christian youth ministry which has helped many youths to live for Christ, find their value in society & become responsible citizens.
in most cases we have fear on how and where shall I start from. My salary wasn’t pleasing, many things as per the legality of the ministry had to be dealt with, so was money. Though this was my fear but I managed to overcome and started not knowing that the biggest hindrance will be my church which persecuted me and youth team. And throughout the years we have easily worked with non-christian in reaching communities than the church.

Forged false statements: These are being sponsored by homosexuals, they have formed that ministry to get to America. We were accused of where money that carried out activities they had witnessed was coming from. We tried to bring them on board by even giving in the list of our members that were soliciting funds for the activities, but they continued seating meetings and announcing on radio for a general youth meeting in kampala with the intention of sabotaging YOFOCHM before the youth body that was  mobilized from churches and on air waves. There is nothing we had not given to them i.e our objectives, foundation, our  vision of Raising a God Frealing Youth Generation for National Development .So we left it to God.

I  discovered later that it was because I didn’t put the (Ministry) under leadership of my church. The leadership was under different youth ministers from different churches since YOFOCHM was to help the many not only in my church but worldwide; stating that it was not an affiliate to my church or any but working with different churches in and outside the country helping out the youth.
By that time I was personally working with my church as a media coordinator in charge of radio and TV broadcast. They asked me to either go by my vision/resign or stay at work; so I chose to go by the vision God had put on my life hence being kicked out from where I used to earn and support YOFOCHM.
After geting out of my work place, almost part of my team got intimidated and left me with almost none to support.Our secrecy, even before they falsely  accussed us, was commitment; we used to join funds and support ourselves/ Yofochm. So when they left, I was in a total disaster. My last option after drying the ministry bank account and the fact that YOFOCHM had to continue with the scheduled activities of that year and sustain the rented office, I had to go sale my home items, get out of my rented house and be accommodated at a (YOFOCHM)leader’s single room, suffered what to eat, transport fares everyday to the office,… but could not lose focus & the vision.

To cut the story short, I was and am still focused.Many young people today lose focus. They think that everything will be on a silver plate. NO NO NO.
Later after, I was summoned for a job at TOP Television where I worked as a studio assistant manager. And after then I was recruited at Family Radio as a presenter and Africa Harvest Mission where I work as a media coordinator for the past 3 years now. This is what God can do. He has put us in limelight. Though it is not easy but by the grace of our Lord Jesus, with my Youth team, we have managed to carryout missions that has inspired, empowered and restored young people in Uganda and outside Uganda schools, prison, churches, hospitals and communities AND WE HAVE A TESTMONY.
Through our mission trips in Uganda and Kenya, we have been able to meet friends that have benefited the ministry and our personal lives.
Prayers are key in YOFOCHM. I remembers times when I could lock  myself in our office and cry to God. As a team we always fast and pray. Then meet monthly for a leaders fellowship in the nite to discuss our way forward,pray for the youth in the world and YOFOCHM.
My dear friend don’t lose hope, stay focused, he will see you overcome.
